- including its charity shops
- Awareness of statutory regulations
- including H&S legislation, trading
- standards, hygiene and retail premises
- Second hand retail sector e.g. antiques
- Current fashion trends
- Good level of literacy and numeracy
- Full driving licence or the ability to be
- able to access public transport to travel
- across our trading locations
- Stamina and enthusiasm for hands on
- physical work
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Ability to motivate and empathise with
- hospice staff and volunteers
- Flexibility and willingness to work in
- other locations and extra hours as and
- when required i.e staff
- shortages/sickness/ holiday cover
- Willingness and desire to work in
- accordance with hospice values

Main duties of the job
We are seeking an enthusiastic Retail Operation Assistant/s to work across our Charity Storesthroughout Surrey and West Sussex
It is important that you have your own vehicle or are happy to use public transport to travel across all our locations for training, holidays, and short notice absence.
