      The Operations Support Specialist is responsible for providing support to branch and administrative personnel on savings, checking, CDs, IRAs, and other applications related to branch operations. He or she courteously and promptly resolves questions and problems and maintains professional relationships, monitors dormant accounts and completes daily file maintenance associated with dormant accounts, reviews Efunds/FIS daily reports and monitors for Chexsystems hits and OFAC alerts, reviews and processes legal orders and social security verifications received by the branches or departments, and completes related reports and maintains accurate records.

      Qualifications

      • Must be at least 18 years old
      • High School diploma or equivalent required
      • Good understanding of financial services and products preferred
      • Banking experience or knowledge of bank operations and regulations preferred
      • Professional appearance, dress, and attitude
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
      • Able to operate related computer applications and business equipment, including 10-key and telephone
      • Able to accommodate and get along well with coworkers
      • Able to work in a fast-paced environment


      Responsibilities

      • Reviews and processes all legal orders received by the department or branches, which includes verification of applicable ownership; notification to customers, branches, and special assets department as appropriate; monitoring daily 360 View Legal Order activities; and releasing of funds when applicable
      • Monitors dormant accounts and reviews daily file maintenance associated with dormant accounts
      • Receives and responds to phone calls from branch personnel in regards to teller, new accounts, and operations functions
      • Completes password resets for the following programs: Citrix, Loomis, Efunds, Test Bank, Branch Capture, Wire Exchange, Cashier’s Checks/Forms, etc.
      • Reviews FIS/eFunds daily reports and monitors for Chexsystems hits, possible identity theft, and OFAC alerts
      • Assists with Reg E Monitoring and branch follow up
      • Assists with compiling and tracking audit reports and training checklists
      • Serves as a backup to Monitor and provides daily resolution of items not processed through new accounts imaging
      • Serves as a backup for setting up retail branch personnel with applicable user names and passwords for operations systems including EZTeller, Citrix, Efunds, Harland Clarke, Loomis, Cashier’s Checks/Forms, Test Bank, etc.
      • Serves as a backup for monitoring daily deficit balance report, closure and reporting of delinquent accounts, verification of maintenance, and other duties associated with Overdraft Courtesy Assists
      • Maintains the professional reputation of D.L. Evans Bank
      • Promotes D.L. Evans Bank at all times
      • Serves as a representative for D.L. Evans Bank in the community
