      OVERVIEW

      Accountable for driving value through Sheetz Petroleum Retail Pricing and analytical efforts to achieve optimal profitability across the entire store portfolio and product mix. Responsible for the curation and interpretation of diverse data sets and ever-changing market dynamics enabling the organization to make strategic fuel pricing decisions. Assists the Retail Pricing team in developing and presenting highly impactful pricing and inventory strategy to the other members of the Petroleum team.


      RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)

      1. Align area objectives with the strategic goals of the organization and within the department.
      2. Manage assigned Petroleum Pricing efforts to hit or exceed budgeted margins and budgeted gallons sold.
      3. Take complete ownership over pricing strategies in assigned segments of our store network.
      4. Execute 24x7 real-time fuel pricing strategy and product mix decisions while managing a plethora of constantly shifting market conditions and data points but not limited to cost, demand, seasonality, pricing spreads, price elasticities, market share and competition.
      5. Partner with fuel supply and trading leadership to optimize refinery gate to pump profitability.

      Education

      • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Science, Economics, Statistics or related field required

      Experience

      • Basic knowledge and practical application of advanced statistical analysis, econometrics and/or mathematical modeling concepts and principles preferred
      • Ability to tune SQL queries preferred
