  We are looking for a friendly, energetic, detail-oriented individual to join our Chula Vista Store that prides themselves on providing great customer service.
  
  Southwest Boulder & Stone is a family owned and operated landscape rock and supply company based in Southern California, with retail locations in Fallbrook, Escondido, Pacific Beach, Chula Vista, Fullerton, Palm Springs and Indio. We specialize in low maintenance, sustainable and drought-tolerant landscaping and building materials. Architects, designers, contractors and homeowners rely on us for Southern California's largest selection of boulders, crushed stone, decomposed granite, flagstone, natural thin veneer, cobble, pebbles, outdoor stone fountains and custom fabrication.

  Essential Job Functions:
  

  • Meet & Greet customers
  • Assist customers with product selection and sales
  • Answer phone calls and emails
  • Process orders and take payment via POS system
  • Setup customer deliveries
  • Establish sales leads from customers
  • Assist with day-to-day operations
  • Maintain store cleanliness and product visibility
  • Maintain retail stock levels on products
  • Monthly product & sales review with Branch Manager
  • Participate in progressive training on current and new product lines
  • Complete product knowledge testing
  • Prepare sample boxes for customers- washed and cleaned material
  • Establish sales leads from customers

  Job Requirements:

  • Must be proficient with computers
  • Must have cash handling experience
  • Ability to work rotational Saturday's.........off every Sunday
  • Must have proper phone & email etiquette
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 35 pounds
  • Ability to learn all products within a period of time
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, leadership driven
  • Prior Bistrack knowledge a plus but not required
  • Bilingual preferred but not required
