Primary duties and responsibilities:
- Build and establish relationships with retail District Managers, Store Managers, and Pro Sales Reps.
- Set financial goals and strategic direction to increase profitability in the retail channel.
- Communicate and educate Distributor Outside Sales representatives, TimberTech representatives, and retail associates on the TimberTech brand to drive sales.
- Develop and expand the offering of special orders at the retail level.
- Act as a liaison for sales and service issues within the assigned territory.
Additional responsibilities:
- Deliver product knowledge seminars to store associates.
- Drive sales to meet revenue goals.
- Perform onsite product demonstrations to communicate the value of the product.
- Conduct onsite visits with customers to ensure satisfaction, renewals, and up-sell opportunities.
- Help maintain special-order deck displays in retail stores.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Experience: 5-7 years in a similar sales management position in the retail channel. Direct experience with home centers preferred. Proficient knowledge of retail special-order systems.
- Computer Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Other Requirements: Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with various audiences. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to shifting priorities. Demonstrated organization and time management skills. Excellent written and oral communication. Understanding of macroeconomic financial information. Ability to lead teams and achieve results. Problem analysis and resolution at a strategic and functional level.
Additional Information:
- The annual salary for this position ranges from $55,000 CAD to $65,000 CAD, depending on location and experience, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
