Look no further, we are seeking a Retail Set-up Coordinator to join our Facilities team!       Responsibilities include:

      • independently scheduling, coordinating, and providing oversight and guidance to ensure safe, timely, high-quality delivery and installation of all fixtures and equipment in multiple simultaneous retail construction projects including new stores, remodels, and special projects
      • independently managing and coordinating multiple simultaneous paint and décor projects in existing stores, ensuring projects are started and completed on schedule and executed according to plans and specifications
      • inspecting and directing execution of décor and signage installations in multiple new stores, remodels, and special projects, ensuring compliance with plans and specifications
      • determining what cabinetry and millwork is required by plans and specifications and what additional cabinetry and fixtures may be needed for the most functional use of the retail space

      Required Qualifications

      • Associate’s degree in a construction-related course of study or equivalent level of documented construction experience
      • 3 years of experience in retail set up/ or general construction
      • Knowledge of construction drawings and installation manuals
      • Knowledge of basic math principles
      • Analytical skills
      • Self-Initiative Skills
      • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
      • Interpersonal skills (including conflict resolution and management)
      • Ability to facilitate meetings
      • Ability to organize tasks and information
      • Knowledge of computer applications (Outlook, Word, Adobe Acrobat)
      • Willingness to travel to stores throughout the retail division, including overnight stays as required.
      • Willingness to work nights and weekends when required.

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related course of study or equivalent level of documented construction experience
      • 5 years of experience in retail setup and/or general construction
      • Knowledge of the standard building code and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
      • Knowledge of millwork installation

      Year End Bonus

      To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks’ pay.
