      We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer with at least 5 years of AWS expertise to join our Retail Deployment Services and Lab Infrastructure team, focusing on Amazon Fresh Store technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker capable of driving cloud infrastructure innovation, mentoring team members, and translating complex technical challenges into actionable solutions, with additional experience in Windows solutions, POS systems, device management and software deployment platforms like SCCM or AirWatch.

      Key job responsibilities
      • Execute and optimize cloud infrastructure projects, implementing advanced solutions using industry best practices and strategic insight
      • Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure for technology platforms, including Windows solutions, POS systems, and device management
      • Troubleshoot complex technical challenges, translating intricate issues into actionable solutions across cloud environments
      • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and leadership to ensure seamless technological integration and communicate strategic technological concepts
      • Develop and optimize workflow procedures for cloud deployment, management, and software deployment platforms like SCCM or AirWatch
      • Provide comprehensive documentation, support operational excellence, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
      • Mentor junior team members, contribute to technological knowledge sharing, and proactively challenge existing technological paradigms


      A day in the life
      Review overnight cloud monitoring alerts and performance dashboards.
      Analyze AWS CloudWatch metrics for any potential infrastructure anomalies.
      Collaborate with cross-functional teams in stand-up meeting.
      Analyze root cause using advanced diagnostic tools.
      Update operational documentation.
      KPI tracking: Infrastructure uptime; Deployment efficiency.
      Refine automation scripts for infrastructure management.

      5+ years professional AWS cloud engineering experience
      cloud infrastructure design and deployment expertise
