Job Description: Under general supervision, plans and executes pricing strategy development and detailed pricing analytics of a moderate to high complexity. Plans and executes organizational strategies and programs. Applies extensive knowledge and use of tools to perform system analysis as well as thorough analysis of business inquiry, navigating systems and processes for root cause. Understands and extracts data from internal data sources and methods for data extraction efficiencies. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering, operations research, economics, finance or other quantitative area of business. Two (2) years of experience directly related to analytical/quantitative business, sales, system development, or operations research. Demonstrated experience with market research, pricing/revenue management, financial analysis, and computer modeling. Strong human relations, communications, organizational, and analytical skills. Directly related experience may offset degree requirement. Directly related advanced degrees may offset experience requirements. Skills/Knowledge/Experience Considered a Plus: Knowledge of FedEx revenue processes and systems. Experience working with multiple stakeholders on large-scale efforts, such as Marketing, Pricing, IT, and Operations. SQL skills to derive quantitative insights from large data sets. Background leading IT projects through software development prioritization and governance processes. Job Specific Information: This is a business analyst role consisting of project leadership, business requirement writing, and data analysis. The position is focused on having software development projects implemented within FedEx revenue systems, primarily in Rating and Invoicing. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of solving problems creatively, leading multiple efforts concurrently, and presenting updates and results to leadership in clear and concise terms. Work Location(s)/ Domicile: Position will be hybrid in Collierville, TN and candidates must live within a reasonable commutable distance. This position is hybrid, meaning that employees must be onsite as directed by leadership but allows team members flexibility to work from home otherwise.
