      The Hampton Inn Kernersville is now hiring Guest Service Representatives to join our outstanding team! These are 1st and 2nd shift positions, with shifts available 7 days a week. The hourly pay is $15.00 per hour, and we are now offering the option to be paid DAILY using DailyPay!


      Assist the Revenue Management Department in the collection, analysis and distribution of requested data.

      PREREQUISITES
      • Minimum 2 years business experience preferred. Prior hotel experience required.
      ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
      • Computer skills: Basic computer knowledge required. Hilton and Marriott Revenue Management Systems, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook experience preferred.
      • Participate in webinars and face-to-face meetings and presentations to properties, regional and corporate, and ownership on a regular basis.
      • Must be able to see, hear, read and write.
      • Must be able to speak, read & write English, ability to communicate in another language may be helpful.
      • Must display professionalism, honesty and trustworthiness at all times.
      • Must be punctual and have to meet required deadlines
      REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
      • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with property GM & DOS; Regional Team, and Corporate Staff; Brand Representatives and Support; Key Ownership Contacts
      • Knowledge of revenue management concepts, tactics and processes
      • Possesses excellent analytical skills and the ability to effectively communicate recommendations based on analysis
      • Possesses strong deductive and inductive reasoning, and be able to translate the results into actions
      • Possesses attention to detail and follows through to conclusion
      • Ability to promptly respond to multiple request and meet deadlines as required
      • Have strong communication skills, both verbal and written
      • Possesses organizational skills and able to prioritize tasks
      • Ability to work in a multi-task environment
      • Ability to make sound decisions with minimal supervision and be proactive rather and reactive
      • Ability to take initiative towards learning new tools and processes
      SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
      • Update, process, generate and distribute daily, weekly and monthly revenue management reports
      • Daily PMS reports, Group Pick-Up, Booking Pace, Shop Call Reports, Special Event Calendars
      • Data entry into various systems, including Excel, assist in preparation of the forecasts reports, displacement analysis, historical trends, Demand & Special Event Calendars
      • Assist in the preparation for the weekly revenue management meetings and/or data analysis
      • Ensure all the Revenue Management tools and resources are current and up to date
      • Review Brand communications and distribute any pertinent information to the RM Team
      • Track tasks and projects due from the properties
      • Light typing in Microsoft Word/Excel with little direction as far as content, including weekly Revenue Management Meeting minutes
      • Assist with Special Projects as designated
      WORKING CONDITIONS/SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
      • Position is corporate office based
      • Time Allotments:
        • 50% Update, process, generate and distribute daily, weekly and monthly revenue management reports
        • 25% Assist Regional Directors of Revenue Management with loading rates and manipulating rate and inventory controls
        • 15% Maintain Revenue Management Files
        • 10% Provide administrative support for the Revenue Management Department
      • Periodic travel may be required
