      Overview

      The summer revenue cycle internship for 2025 will be project-based work related to revamping internal reporting of revenue for the organization. Bancroft is a $275M organization consisting of three business lines: Adult Residential, Children’s Residential and Day/Education, each of which have multiple sub-lines. This position will be responsible for developing templates for recurring use to translate revenue data from the Electronic Health Record (“EHR”) system to the General Ledger (“GL”), as well as providing rate/volume variance analysis for use by program (operations) teams. Advanced Excel skills are required for this role. The ability to think critically and strong financial analysis skills are preferred.

      Responsibilities

      Essential Responsibilities:

      • Collaborate with Revenue Cycle leadership to gain understanding of EHR reporting
      • Develop template for recurring revenue analysis including the following:
        • Projected revenue
        • Rate and volume variance
        • Crosswalk to GL accounts
      • Develop mechanism to capture variances outside of expected
      • Work with other team members to determine variance sources and required adjustments, as appropriate

      Qualifications

      Position Requirements:

      • Finance, Accounting or related major
      • Minimum GPA of 3.0
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills
      • Highly motivated with a desire to learn
      • Strong Excel skills

      Administrative:

      • Ability to work 16-24 hours per week at the Bancroft corporate office in Cherry Hill - please note that this is an in-person position
      • Preference for rising juniors or seniors
      • Position is available from early June through early August
