**What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):**
- Monitor, analyze, and ensure compliance with payer operations and governmental policies
- Identify and participate in resolving revenue or charge-related issues
- Update Charge Description Management (CDM) and manage system charge routing
- Collaborate with clinical departments to address coding errors and billing discrepancies
- Assist Revenue Cycle departments with special procedures and various duties as assigned
**What is Required (Qualifications):**
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in revenue cycle processes and hospital/medical billing
- Technical school degree or Associate's Degree in finance or science, or equivalent experience
- Advanced knowledge of code data sets, including CPT, HCPCS, and ICD 10
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Professional certification maintenance in good standing (e.g., CCS, RHIT, RHIA, CPC)
**How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):**
- Proficiency with VitalWare, Soarian, or Epic systems
- Familiarity with reimbursement theories, including DRG, OPPS, HCC, and managed care
- Notable client service and communication skills
- Ability to function independently in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications
