      Your Impact:

      The SMB Renewals Business Analyst is a member of a global and dynamic team that manages cloud-based subscription and off-cloud maintenance renewals for our SMB (Carbonite/Webroot) business unit, with a primary focus on programs that drive revenue growth.

      Reporting to the Director of Renewal Operations the successful candidate will empower SMB Customer Success Managers (CSM) and their leaders with the tools, information, analysis, insights, and recommendations to drive growth in business. A self-starter, the Reporting Analyst will proactively work to understand CSM reporting requirements in the face of changing market conditions. The Analyst will be expected to effectively communicate updates and progress to CSMs and Renewals Operations management.

      The Analyst’s objective is to become a trusted advisor and business partner to SMB CSMs, their leaders and the SMB Renewals leadership by supporting the mission and activities of the SMB Renewals Organization

      What the role offers :

      • Building Salesforce reports and enhancing existing dashboards that pinpoint growth opportunities for Customer Success Managers
      • Eliciting and analyzing requirements of Sales leaders and interpreting these to incorporate key performance indicators (KPIs) in their dashboards
      • Developing reports and associated dashboards that highlight Renewal teams’ performance using KPIs relevant to each manager
      • Support the Reporting team in data collection ensuring standardised reporting processes that can deliver in a complex environment with disparate, complex systems
      • Provide insight on impact of the company’s acquisition / system implementation decisions impacts integrated Salesforce reporting
      • Assisting the SMB Enablement team develop onboarding training for SFDC adoption by new hires as well documentation for report usage
      • Assist with developing data quality standards and best practice processes ensuring data is available, reliable, consistent, accessible, and timely

      What you need to Succeed:

      • Bachelor’s degree ideally in Business with a minimum of 2 years work experience
      • 2+ years of renewal experience, ideally with subscription / license-based solutions in a fast-paced technology environment
      • Proven track record / expertise in report creation/generation, in the Salesforce.com Lightning environment. Trailhead certificates a plus
      • An aptitude for systems with enhanced with an adaptable customer experience mindset
      • Superior analytical, planning, and organizational skills
      • Showcasing excellent business acumen, exerting both authority and influence and superior communication skills to convince management and peers
      • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (formulas, power pivot) is an absolute must
      • Experience with any of Tableau, OLAP, SQL, Power Point, Outlook, and Word is an asset
      • Comfort responding to, and often anticipating, ad hoc requests from the executive team

      Worktime Flexibility / Travel Requirements:

      • The role is based at OpenText’s offices in Waterloo or Richmond Hill
      • Occasional regional travel may be required
