      JOB SUMMARY:

      This is a Return Resolution Specialist - Revenue Specialist III position in the General Tax Administration Program, Return Reconciliation Process. The incumbent corresponds with Department personnel and external customers to obtain information to resolve discrepancies on returns, initiate correction to accounting records, and correct discrepancies identified during account analysis. The incumbent also assists with the development of procedures, training, job aids, and manuals. The incumbent must be able to logically apply basic tax knowledge.

      MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

      • Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue.
      • One year of experience correcting tax returns in the System for Unified Taxation (SUNTAX).
      • One year of experience working as a Revenue Specialist II or higher.

      SPECIAL NOTES:

      • This is a full time job working 40 hours per week; work hours are 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM , Monday through Friday.

      SALARY: The hiring salary for this position generally will not exceed $3,516.65 monthly/$42,199.80 annually.
