- Req#: 25-237
- Design RF and digital hardware solutions using MMIC components
- Uses CAD tools to design printed circuit boards and packaging for evals and modules
- Develops embedded software & firmware for digital control of RF components
- Conducts manual and automated performance tests to characterize RF semiconductor components
- Provide engineering support for existing products and under the direction of senior design engineers
- Currently pursuing Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering. Masters degree preferred
- Experience with board-level, mixed signal design
- Experience with programmable digital logic devices such as FPGAs, PLDs
- Experience with printed circuit board design using CAD tools such as Altium or Cadence
- Ability to independently make RF measurements using lab equipment such as Vector Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, and Signal Generators.
- Good knowledge of analog circuit fundamentals and design techniques
- Self-motivated and eager to apply learning into practice
- Ability to obtain DoD security clearance

Description
Mercury Systems is looking for an engineering intern at our Peachtree Corners location. As an engineering intern, you will work with and support senior engineers in the design and testing of RF components and integrated assemblies that operate from 10 MHz to 40 GHz. This role will support a multidisciplined and fast paced team that prides itself on delivering comprehensive solutions to our customer base with an eye on continuous improvement and pushing technical boundaries. The ideal candidate will independently complete small design projects in support of the RF MMIC product line.
