What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Teach virtual classes in the designated subject area
- Conduct synchronous virtual classes during the school day
- Provide instruction and support to students
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff members
- Maintain accurate records of student progress
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Hold current South Carolina licensure and/or teaching certification
- Minimum of 5 years of successful teaching experience in the subject area
- Availability for synchronous virtual classes during the school day
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficient in the use of virtual teaching platforms
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience teaching in a virtual school environment
- Familiarity with online learning platforms
- Additional certifications or endorsements in the subject area
- Strong ability to engage and motivate students in an online setting
- Experience working with diverse student populations
