      What You’ll Do:

      As a Rights Coordinator within our Research & Rights Management Team, your primary role is to provide vital support to both the Rights Manager and Research Manager in various aspects of rights management and administration.

      This includes obtaining clearances for archive footage, voice-over (VO), and audio, as well as managing associated documentation and financial aspects. You serve as the main point of contact for both internal and external footage suppliers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

      Your responsibilities also extend to offering guidance and best practices to client production partners regarding research and archive clearance. You actively manage archive footage clearances, contracts, and licenses across multiple productions. Administrative tasks include maintaining crucial documents related to footage archives, rights clearance, and voice-over, while also overseeing budgets, cost reports, payments, and invoicing.

      Efficiency is key, and you handle the booking of additional Freelancer support when needed. Your role also involves facilitating knowledge sharing and the development of training materials related to rights clearance processes.

      Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:

      • Acting as the point of contact for both internal and external footage suppliers.

      • Offer consultation to client’s production partners on research and archive clearance best practice.

      • Proactive management of archive footage clearances, contracts and licences across multiple productions including delegation of work to the rights assistant.

      • Proactively maintaining key administrative documents relating to footage archive, rights clearance, and VO including tracking of all rights in place and their expiration dates

      • Manage all budgets, cost reports, payments and invoicing associated to all footage, archive, stills, VO and music usage and clearance fees.

      • Assisting the Production Accountant with monthly financial reports.

      • Booking additional Freelancer support when necessary.

      • Assist Rights Manager and Research Manager in the development of training materials and facilitate sharing of knowledge of rights clearance processes.

      • You may also be required to carry out any other duties, which are within the scope and purpose of the job.

      You Will Have The Following Strengths:

      • Knowledge of the pre-production, production and post-production process

      • Experience of liaising with clients and agencies or similar customer facing experience

      • Experience working with small budgets

      • Experience with PowerPoint, Excel and Word software packages

      • Experience of working with footage/archive clearance issues

      • Experience of copyright, legal issues and legislation surrounding archive clearance
