Generate complete, accurate risk exposure reports and submit per reporting guidelines

The Risk Analyst ensures correct measurement, aggregation, and analysis of risk within assigned portfolios
-
Monitor and escalate risk violations or production issues in line with internal standards
-
Record and document late or missing reports and associated metrics
-
Propose and lead efficiency improvement projects for better business support
-
Implement infrastructure changes associated with new/revised policies
-
Ensure internal controls and governance standards are documented and followed
-
Manage operational risk via cross-training, documentation, and audit readiness
-
Liaise with stakeholders: front office, CRM, GCC, audit, and technology teams
-
Perform ad-hoc risk analysis and reconciliations across business areas

Maintain understanding of financial derivatives and analytical modeling principles

Perform monthly reconciliations to validate the accuracy of captured risk
-
Foster a respectful, inclusive work environment aligned with company policies

Mentor and coach team members, promoting continuous improvement

Degree in Finance, Risk Management, or related field

FRM or CFA preferred (nice to have)

Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar Risk Management or financial analysis role

Strong knowledge of financial products and counterparty credit risk

Experience with impact assessments, requirements gathering, and user testing

Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team

Excellent written and verbal communication

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

Previous experience in Risk Management

CFA and/or FRM designations
-
Technical proficiency (Excel, SQL, VBA, Python, etc.)

Experience in banking, prioritizing within hierarchical environments

Knowledge of complex systems

Emphasis on Risk Management experience and a strong finance background

Understanding of financial products and banking operations is required

The Capital Markets Risk Management (CMRM) area is part of the client’s Corporate Risk Management function. The team is accountable for providing independent oversight of Profit and Loss, Market Risk, Counterparty Credit Risk, Collateral, and Valuation activities tied to global trading. CMRM supports business initiatives, enables risk-aware decisions, and ensures robust capture and control of risk exposure.
The Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) team within CMRM is focused on quantitative analysis, policy implementation, and exception management across multiple trading and non-trading business lines.
Job Description
As a Senior Analyst within the Credit Policy Reporting team, you will focus on analysis, reporting, and monitoring of risk exposures to ensure compliance with established policy limits. You will be responsible for executing infrastructure changes in line with policy updates.
This position requires close collaboration with credit risk management, counterparty credit, market risk, model development, front office, audit, and change delivery teams. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.
