      • You'll be supporting the design and development of assurance activity on an end-to-end basis, identifying and addressing risks, and working collaboratively with your colleagues and the business to close any gaps

      What you'll do

      As a Risk & Controls Assurance Analyst, you'll support the Risk & Controls Assurance Manager to deliver a robust assurance function that meets our policy, legal and regulatory requirements and expectations. You'll do this by undertaking technology and application control testing to provide assurance that key policies and controls have been implemented and continue to be effective.

      Day to day, you'll be:

      • Delivering IT General Controls (ITGC) SOx and non-SOx controls adequacy and effectiveness testing
      • Undertaking testing activities in line with the annual assurance schedule
      • Contributing to the development and delivery of an annual risk-based assurance programme, to confirm that key policies and controls have been effectively implemented
      • Helping to maintain the annual assurance schedule, monitoring its delivery and our overall governance and risk position
      • Proactively identifying improvements to our assurance processes, procedures and methodology
      • Making sure our processes, procedures and methodology are consistent, up to date and fully aligned with our broader policy framework, and any respective legal or regulatory requirements

      The skills you'll need

      To make an impact with us, you'll bring experience of technology and application control testing gained in an audit, assurance or risk function. Experience of using data and analytics to perform controls testing would be a real advantage.

      You'll also need:

      • An understanding of the Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework
      • Knowledge of assurance and risk management methodologies
      • A practical understanding of operational risks in a financial services environment
      • The ability to develop great working relationships with your colleagues and stakeholders
