      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Identify healthcare client HPL exposures through analyses and consulting services to mitigate risks
      - Improve client HPL claims management programs by analyzing program elements for cost containment
      - Conduct risk and quality assessments, providing recommendations for operational improvement
      - Provide client advocacy and coordinate settlement approval of HPL claims
      - Collaborate with teams to execute pre and post-loss strategies and consult on claims management procedures

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Minimum of 10 years of experience as an accredited claims professional
      - Additional credentials such as a registered nurse or 5 years in safety/risk management
      - 5 years of direct clinical experience in healthcare
      - Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or a related technical major
      - Proficiency in data interpretation and management tools, including Microsoft applications

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Familiarity with healthcare accreditations and quality scores
      - Experience with “batch” HPL claims management
      - Knowledge of jurisdictional variances and the Safe Medical Device Act (SMDA)
      - Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
      - Ability to establish rapport and maintain positive relationships with clients and colleagues
