      Would you like a position where you can leverage your knowledge within building & fire protection and advise international companies on their risk profile?

      Our aim is to help business mitigate risk by ensuring they have long-term property solutions in place. Through a holistic risk assessment and consultancy, WTW conducts risk control and protection surveys related to i.e. buildings, fire, business interruption, etc. for a wide list of different industries, segments as well as client types.

      As our new Risk Engineer, you act as advocate and advisor on matters relating to risk improvements and property risk in a broad perspective as well as in general.

      Together with colleagues, Danish as well as international, you will create a holistic and value-adding service to our many clients. Your primary function will be offering clients risk engineering surveys and risk management advisory together with advising WTW’s Account Directors on risk levels and loss estimates. Our finest purpose is to create a structured and comprehensive view of a company’s risks; especially regarding buildings and operations, in terms of meeting the client’s insurance needs.

      A holistic advisor who creates value for our clients

      You will be part of a dynamic and creative team of five engineers, where daily discussions on tasks and challenges takes place in an open and engaged atmosphere.

      You will make assessments of both national and international clients, followed by an unbiased report of the company’s risks, as well as providing counselling on risk minimizing initiatives in terms of optimizing insurance coverage and the implementation of risk improvements, especially related to property, assets, and potential business interruption.

      In addition to the primary and more traditional tasks in WTW's Risk Engineering department, you will collaborate with other departments under WTW's Risk & Analytics in Denmark, covering areas such as Security Management, Enterprise Risk Management, Business Continuity, Actuarial Services, and Strategic Risk Consulting. In addition to many other specialists in WTW Denmark as well as worldwide when needed.

      About you

      You have a building construction, fire prevention or risk management background and are experienced in providing and implementing risk assessments within these areas.

      You can have gained this experience from the insurance broking industry, an insurance company, consulting firm or maybe you have worked as a Loss Adjuster.

      This role can be in any of our four offices in Denmark, in addition of being able to work from home several days a week.

      You have/are:

      • An independent drive, are extrovert and customer oriented
      • Responsible and aware that good results are created through teamwork
      • Good at developing and maintaining close business relations
      • Comfortable in communicating in both Danish and English – written and oral
      • The desire to develop your skills in an area where construction and the possibility of risk-mitigating initiatives are constantly evolving
      • Willing to travel 50-70 days/year
