      As a Risk Management Associate in Lending Governance & Execution, you will be responsible for leading initiatives supporting Risk Governance including management of the Business Banking Risk sub-committee, Risk document updates, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, including regulations impacting our line of business. You will also have an opportunity to be involved in other initiatives including but not limited to credit review and analysis process changes, quality assurance, regulatory oversight, change management, and governance initiatives for Business Banking Lending. You will identify and recommend changes to ensure a strong governance structure to best meet customer needs and business objectives. A focus on understanding, evaluating, and supporting Chase’s Business Banking lending processes is critical to effectively measure and manage risk. You will work with team members in Risk Management, Legal, Compliance, Controls, Audit, Technology, and Lending to manage risk within the firm’s appetite.

      Job Responsibilities:

      • Lead the Business Banking Risk sub-committee, coordinating meetings, agendas, and follow-ups to ensure effective governance.
      • Maintain and update all relevant documents and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
      • Oversee the maintenance and accuracy of the business name list, ensuring it is up-to-date and compliant with internal and external standards.
      • Ensure adherence to key regulation (Reg B, O, W), providing oversight and governance to maintain compliance.
      • Provide additional governance and oversight for procedure and document management, supporting the overall compliance framework.
      • Communicate across key functional partners and all key stakeholder groups.

      Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

      • Bachelor's Degree with a focus in a quantitative or business discipline is required.
      • 2+ years of experience in Risk Management, Credit, Audit, Compliance, or similar functions.
      • Strong communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills, ability to interact with individuals across departments / functions and with senior-level individuals.
      • Ability to develop common-sense solutions to business challenges.
      • Project Management Skills -- well-organized, structured approach. Ability to achieve tight timelines on deliverables. Ability to manage and prioritize projects across functional groups.
      • High degree of drive, independence, and ability to work well under pressure.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

      Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

      • Previous experience in project management and using the Atlassian suite of applications – Jira and Confluence, would be a plus.
