      The Risk Transfer Consultant is a client focused champion of risk management who their wealth of knowledge to promote and improve our clients’ risk transfer practices. They work diligently to obtain, analyze and monitor certificates of insurance while achieving a desirable compliance rate for our clients. The Risk Transfer Consultant needs to be a self-starting, task oriented and a driven person. They directly work towards achieving the company’s vision of Minimizing Risk Maximizing Health, by reducing insurance liability for our clients from the third parties they are doing business with.

      THIRD PARTY RISK TRANSFER MANAGEMENT

      • Obtains, analyzes and monitors certificates of insurance from our clients’ third-party entities

      • Notifies clients and third-party entities of certificate status and expiration of policies

      • Provides client with various compliance reports

      • Participates in monthly/quarterly review meetings with clients

      • Provides guidance and tools to clients on processes and procedures

      • Identifies potential issues and escalate to supervisor/manager

      • Communicates with client, third parties and coworkers telephonically and by e-mail

      • Reviews Certificates of Insurance for compliance with insurance requirements

      • Validates types of coverage, limits, policy terms, endorsement forms and other required language

      • Maintains working knowledge of Risk Transfer Coordinator responsibilities

      EXECUTION OF CLIENT SERVICE

      • Works with Producer and/or Account Executives, service team and other internal departments to plan, execute and track customized service strategy for each client, designed to create measurable value and efficiencies in their businesses

      • Builds personalized client relationships through demonstrated ownership of the service plan and multiple channels of communication such as phone, email and in-person meetings

      • Oversees the accuracy and display of information in certificate tracking software; consults with and enacts client decisions on access to portal by their staff

      • Leverages insurance knowledge and communication skills to explain certificate requirements, coverage terms and other items to clients as needed

      • Works with internal departments to ensure cohesiveness and timeliness of service execution, and creates report of service plan execution through commitment report

      • Takes an enterprise-wide approach to client service by collaborating with other service teams to create a cohesive client service experience

      • Manages time effectively to prioritize workload, client service requests and service parameters on business processes

      DATA PROCESS AND INTEGRITY

      • Consistently follows workflows and appropriately engages internal resources such as process support team, procedure manuals and reporting tools to ensure efficiency and accuracy of execution

      • Accurately maintains complete client files including the clear documentation of account detail in agency management systems and certificate tracking software including account information, attachments, and correspondence

      • Achieves desired levels of data completeness and process integrity by consistently meeting activity timelines, quality metrics and goals

      PEER RELATIONSHIPS

      • Participates in ongoing scheduled meetings with service team to discuss accounts, service needs, service platform, etc.

      • Trains, guides and mentors Risk Transfer team and other peers

      • Communicates effectively with Risk Transfer team and provides timely and complete information to allow them to establish positive client relationships and efficiently manage their processes and workload

      • Develops successful and effective working relationships with service team members, managers, and members of other departments

      REQUIRED:

      • Upon hire, Producers License for Fire/Casualty

      • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

      • Home office work area and high-speed internet capability

      PREFERRED:

      • Previous Property and Casualty experience
