      Unpaid volunteer position welcoming visitors and patients to Riverton Hospital.

      Job Description:

      Information Desk Volunteers welcoming visitors and patients to Riverton Hospital.

      Volunteers provide a welcoming greeting to visitors, which helps ease the nervousness some may feel when coming into a hospital and provides reassurance and comfort.

      Volunteers serve our visitors and patients through providing information when entering the hospital, making occasional deliveries to patient rooms, providing directions throughout the hospital. Volunteer positions are currently available daily in three - to- four hour shifts from 9:00a.m.-7:00p.m. Volunteers may choose the day and time that works best with their schedule.

      Requirements: A consecutive 80-hour (6-month) commitment, which entails volunteering one day per week for 3-4 hours; Completing a Drug Screening, TB Test, Immunization Check; and Passing a Background Check.

      Volunteers must be at least 16 years-old and must be fully vaccinated.
