Job Description

- Management of RMO rosters, including entering RMO hours into the payroll system
- Building and maintaining relationships across the Southern district
- Liaising with agencies with regards to the temporary placement of locum RMOs
- Provision of cover to the wider team when they are on leave
- Excellent relationship building skills
- A keen eye for detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding organisation and time management skills
- Previous administration experience
- The ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- The ability to work effectively under pressure
- Occupational Health Assessment
- Police Vetting / Ministry of Justice safety checks
- Serious misconduct checks (previous Public Service departments and statutory Crown entities only)

This is a busy and satisfying permanent, part-time position that will allow you to use your organisation, relationship management and interpersonal skills to help make a real difference.
Mō te tūranga | About the role
This role will be responsible for the coordination of activities for Resident Medical Officers (RMOs) within Health New Zealand Southern. You will ensure that all aspects of RMO rosters are coordinated effectively, and in a compliant manner. The RMO Advisor will support RMOs by facilitating leave and expense claim requests while building relationships with this group as well as the wider hospital.

Utu whānui |Salary range
This role belongs to the Te Pūkenga Here Tikanga Mahi Public Service Association (PSA) National Health Administration Workers Collective Agreement Band 6B between Step 1 $77,452 and Step 3 $81,024 pro rata dependant on relevant experience.
