Job Description

- The Medical Oncology Nurse is responsible for providing direct and indirect physical, psychosocial and spiritual care for patients with cancer and other related disease processes
- The oncology nurse will also act as the patient’s advocate and educator
- IA RN license or compact state
- Oncology Certification (OCN) is preferred but not mandatory
- Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Certification required prior to completion of orientation/chemo administration
- PRN
- M-F
- 7:30a-5p
- The schedule may fluctuate based upon needs of the department
