What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review and screen the appropriateness of services and utilization of hospital resources
- Assess the quality of patient care from admission through discharge
- Identify problems and provide education to facilitate effective healthcare delivery
- Implement best practice workflows and evidence-based screening criteria
- Maximize reimbursement through continuous assessment and problem identification
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience
- Previous utilization management or case management experience
- Knowledge of outside regulatory agencies that interface with the institution
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in healthcare settings with a focus on clinical services
- Familiarity with reimbursement processes and regulatory compliance
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
