      What We’re Looking For:

      • Compassionate, detail-oriented Registered Nurse committed to excellence in patient care

      • 1 year of nursing experience preferred

      • Pediatric Course ACT 548 completed

      • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year of hire

      • Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) preferred

      • Crisis Prevention Training within six months of hire

      • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within one year

      • Neonatal Resuscitation Program preferred

      • Emergency Nurses Pediatric Core Course (ENPC) preferred

      • Current Louisiana RN licensure required

      • CEN Certification encouraged/preferred

      What You Will Do:

      To improve the quality of life of patients and families by coordinating patient care processes of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in collaboration with the patient, family, physician, and appropriate support services for the age population served.

      • Coordinate patient assessment through collection of health data, including comprehensive physical and psychosocial evaluations

      • Analyze assessments to determine nursing diagnoses and identify expected outcomes

      • Develop and coordinate an interdisciplinary plan of care that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes

      • Implement interventions in collaboration with the healthcare team, maintaining patient rights and ensuring timely treatments and medications

      • Evaluate patient progress, revising diagnoses, outcomes, and plans of care as needed

      • Perform triage assessments on all patients, following established protocols and guidelines

      • Conduct focused assessments for patients of all age groups

      • Administer and monitor Procedural Sedation

      • Perform all other duties as assigned
