- 1 year ED or 2 years Telemetry preferred
- California RN license
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS (New Grad only- within 3 months of hire/transfer)
- TNCC (New Grad only- within 6 months of hire/transfer)
- Must obtain National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) education module within 6 months of hire or transfer into unit and must maintain thereafter.
- ENPC and MICN per clinical ladder requirements
- CEN preferred

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Emergency Director of Patient Care Services/Shift Manager, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and providing high quality, individualized patient care using the components of the nursing process.
