- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Alabama.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or must obtain within 30 days of hire.
- 1 year of ER or ICU experience required.
- ACLS/PALS
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, disease prevention, and wellness strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
About the Role:
As a Registered Nurse (RN) at UAB Medical West Freestanding Emergency Room, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care. Your primary responsibility will be to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans, ensuring that all patients receive the best possible treatment and support.
