Pay Range: $48.32/hr - $59.43/hr - $66.89/hr
*Please note, the highest starting rate as a new hire is $59.43/hr, based on applicable experience
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Registered Nurse is a licensed professional who provides patient care in accordance with the standards, policies, and practices of Enloe Medical Center. The Registered Nurse prioritizes patient needs, coordinates patient care, and collaborates with other members of the patient care team to provide care in accordance with the medical plan of care. These services further the mission of Enloe Medical Center, which is to provide high quality, cost effective healthcare for the people in the communities we serve. This 58-bed medical/surgical unit includes an experienced, multidisciplinary team of professionals who care for a diverse and clinically challenging patient population. A wide variety of patients with cardiac, respiratory, endocrine, gastrointestinal, urological and neurological disorders will be found here. Most patients admitted to this unit have chronic medical conditions in acute phases. Attention to detail and the ever-changing condition of our patients is essential. The close-knit team of professionals on this unit display a sense of pride in caring for this broad scope of patient challenges.EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE:

* One year of acute nursing experience.LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:
Minimum:
* Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing
* Current CPR recognition
* NIH Stroke Scale Certification (required within 1 month of hire) (dept tracks)SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:
Must demonstrate technical competence, professional clinical judgment, communication skills and sensitivity for the patient and family in crisis. Must have the ability to perform the essential functions of the job.About the company
