      • Schedule: Full-Time | Monday thru Friday and On Call Rotation

      You, Our Ideal Candidate
      You are a dedicated nurse who brings clinical expertise and compassion to every shift. Your detail-oriented, responsive in critical situations, and committed to delivering the highest quality care. You’re also a team player who communicates well and builds trust with residents and colleagues alike.
      Responsibilities
      • Leads the (CNAs, LPNs, RNs) on one or more floors.
      • Conducts resident, associate and injury investigations and makes recommendations for resolution.
      • Conducts care conferences with family members, residents and staff.
      • Makes written and oral reports/recommendations to Director concerning operations of the department.
      • Participates in State survey and quarterly reports.
      • Notifies physician and family/responsible party of change in resident’s condition.
      • Provides individualized attention to residents as needed, implements plan of care, dispenses medication, takes vital signs. Takes cultures and specimens. Reviews and documents activities via MARS and TARS and AOD. Reviews nurses’ notes to ensure accuracy and information.
      • Performs all job responsibilities in accordance with prescribed safety and infection control procedures including thorough hand washing, use of disposable gloves where indicated, and proper disposal of soiled materials.
      • Admissions, transfers and discharge functions as assigned.
      • Communicates with Doctor(s), families and other health professionals.
      Requirements
      • Current Ohio RN license from accredited nursing school
      • Previous leadership and nursing experience in a continuing care retirement community or hospital
      • Must possess a customer services background and orientation with demonstrated problem solving skills
      • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
      • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
      • Electronic medical records knowledge preferred
      • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
      • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
