What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide routine nursing care within the limits of nursing knowledge and licensure
- Assess the physical, social, and emotional needs of patients and families
- Teach and counsel patients and families on health assessment, disease prevention, and health maintenance
- Accurately and completely document patient care, including medications and follow-up activities
- Assist with patient triage and direct patients to appropriate care
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Texas
- Current AHA approved Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
- 2+ years of clinical experience preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

- Experience with OB/Gyn and related specialties
- Previous experience in an ambulatory, hospital, or home health setting
