What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Consistently exhibit behavior and communication skills demonstrating superior customer service
- Perform all functions of the UM nurse reviewer
- Ensure the accuracy of clinical decision-making and integrity of adverse determination processes
- Collaborate with UM compliance for quality improvement efforts
- Use, protect, and disclose Optum patients' protected health information in accordance with HIPAA standards

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license through the State of Washington or Multistate License
- Must adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associate of Science in Nursing, ASN
- 3+ years of care management, utilization review, or discharge planning experience
- 1+ years of Utilization experience
- HMO experience
- Preferred PC skills, including Microsoft Office
