      Our Team

      Located on the campus of Salem Hospital, the practice is within the Highland Hall outpatient building (55 Highland Avenue, Suite 104, Salem, MA 01970), our practice diagnoses and treats conditions related to the lungs and respiratory system. We provide physical examinations, health screenings, and preventative/ongoing care for patients with pulmonary diseases and sleep disorders. Conditions treated include:

      • Asthma
      • COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease)
      • Emphysema
      • Interstitial lung diseases
      • Pulmonary complications of respiratory muscle weakness from neuromuscular diseases
      • Sarcoidosis
      • Sleep apnea and other sleep disorders

      The Opportunity

      We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour RN to support our team onsite Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm.

      Responsibilities will include:

      • Phone triage (follow up, sick calls, results)
      • Prescription refills (following proper protocols)
      • Prior authorizations (specialty drugs, denials)
      • Patient education (CPAP, inhaler)
      • Office visits (injections)

      This is a unique opportunity to work autonomously while also functioning as part of the larger practice team. As our first nurse hire, this RN will be helping us build this function out and define what this model will look like future-state!

      Qualifications

      The ideal candidate profile is an experienced, adaptable RN who is confident in their clinical abilities.

      • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
      • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required
      • Nursing experience, particularly in a community-based ambulatory setting strongly preferred
      • Pulmonary Medicine/Sleep Medicine/Critical Care or other Procedural/Specialty Care experience preferred
