The Jones-Harrison community offers Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing and Long-Term Care with a beautiful view of Cedar Lake and pristine grounds . This community features 53 Assisted living, 9 memory care apartments, 120 skilled and long term care beds.   Ebenezer is hiring an Registered Nurse/RN role whom would be responsible for ensuring that the safety and health needs of the Long term care center and transitional care unit patients are met. Supported by a team of nursing leadership, nursing assistants, housekeeping, activities, culinary, social work and more.   Nursing schedule includes;

  • 40 hours every two weeks
  • Evening shift, evening shift differential pay
  • Every other Saturday/Sunday and holiday schedule rotation

  • DHS college education scholarships
  • RN student loan repayment, up to $10,000

  Responsibilities:

  • Monitors personal cares provided to assure consistency with each individual Care Plan
  • Coordinates medications and performs treatments per physician orders and facility policies
  • RN – Assesses care plans, resident goals and revises, modify as needed
  • Provides reports and documentation related to incidents, change of status and cares provided

  Required:

  • Current MN RN license or by start date

    • BLS is required upon hire and/or new hire must show proof that they are currently

      enrolled in a BLS class to renew or obtain their certification. BLS certification must be

      obtained within three-weeks of hire date and before nurse can perform independent

      practice

  • AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers

  Preferred:

  • Comfortable using Microsoft windows and electronic charting systems
  • Work experience in a patient support role, LPN or RN
  • Good written and verbal communication skills to interact with residents, families and physicians or providers
