WALK-IN WEDNESDAYS starting Wednesday, May 18 (from 1:00pm - 4:00pm) You can expect to receive on-the-spot interviews, plant tours, and/or testing opportunities. ADDRESS: 1803 SW Jefferson Street, Lee's Summit, Missouri 64082.
- Sets welding machine voltage and wire speed for proper fusion of metals following standard work methods and detailed drawings.
- Welds assemblies to engineering specifications
- Performs basic maintenance of welding equipment to ensure proper working order.
- Inspects weldments for obvious defects such as but not limited to: weld spatter, rough welds, missing welds and sharp corners/edges.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Basic reading, writing and math skills. Basic blueprint reading preferred.
- Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location
Briggs & Stratton / Billy Goat, located in Lee's Summit, Missouri, is a leading and innovative manufacturer of outdoor power equipment. We specialize in the design and manufacture of machines in three product groups: Debris Management (vacuums, blowers, and debris loaders), Lawn Renovation, and Brush Cutters. We have an immediate opening for a full time Robot Welder Operator to support our 2nd shift operations.
Work Hours: 4:45pm – 3:15am, Monday – Thursday. Overtime is required at various times during the year, usually on Fridays. Starting pay depends on experience and will have the opportunity to qualify for additional pay rate increases after 90 days. Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.Benefits:
