General Responsibilities:
Party Chief gives direction for this position
Transport and set up instruments and equipment associated with surveying land and preparing job site for survey
Clear brush or trees away from survey line
Lays out stakes to prepare for elevation measurements
Holding prism pole steady for the surveyor to help determine elevations of different points
Measures how far different points are from each other HorizontallyMust be able to travel one week out of the month
Helps with various pieces of survey equipment
Required Education/Licenses:HS Graduate or GED
Required Experience:Strong communication skills both oral and written
