Joining Rolling Stone as a part-time newsroom operations assistant offers a unique opportunity to be part of the iconic brand that has been the leading voice of music and popular culture for over 50 years. As a member of our team, you will have the chance to work with talented professionals in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the production of high-quality content that reaches a global audience of approximately 60 million people every month.
Responsibilities:
- Track and manage budgets, in communication with Rolling Stone editors
- Send out contributor contracts and ensure they are signed and returned
- Track and process invoices, expenses, and reimbursements for contributors and key vendors
- Communicate with editors to ensure timely submission of invoices and adherence to budget
- Assist with special projects
Requirements:
- Highly organized and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle complex budgets
- Ability to track and process invoices in Salesforce
- Excellent phone, email, and interpersonal communication skills
Hourly rate: $25
