      Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated Band 5 Rotational Occupational Therapist to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience across multiple clinical settings while making a real impact on patient care.

      Main duties of the job

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Conduct comprehensive occupational assessments and develop individualised treatment plans.
      • Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, both individual and group-based.
      • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery and well-being.
      • Advocate for service users, ensuring inclusive, person-centred care that aligns with their goals and aspirations.
      • Contribute to the development of evidence-based practice within occupational therapy.
      • Participate in clinical audits, research, and quality improvement initiatives.

      What We're Looking For:

      • Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration (or pending registration).
      • A proactive and compassionate professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Strong ability to assess occupational needs and deliver effective interventions.
      • A keen interest in mental health, social inclusion, and recovery-focused care.
      • The ability to work flexibly across different locations, adapting to various clinical settings.
