      Are you a soon to be qualified, newly qualified or an experienced Occupational Therapist looking to work within a supportive, friendly, and dynamic therapy team delivering Occupational Therapy across a wide variety of rotations?

      Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join the Band 5 rotations. The successful candidate will join our very supportive therapy teams across various inpatient and outpatient clinical areas and rotate every 6 months across a wide range of areas including:

      • Rapid Response team (emergency department and acute admission areas)
      • Acute medical including our award-winning dementia unit,
      • Neuro rehabilitation inpatients,
      • Trauma & Orthopaedics (including Paediatrics) inpatients,
      • General Surgery rehabilitation inpatients,
      • Neuro rehabilitation Outpatients
      • Musculoskeletal Occupational Therapy Outpatients
      • Intermediate Care & Frailty Service

This role would be an excellent opportunity for qualified Occupational therapists looking to gain experience in a variety of core clinical areas. We offer preceptorship support and training opportunities to enable you to develop your career. As a Therapy service, we are big enough to provide you with varied experience and small enough to care.

      Main duties of the job

      To work as an autonomous Occupational therapist to provide assessment and treatment to patients presenting with a range of conditions.

      To work in a range of settings within the hospital or community.

      To contribute to weekend working.

      To be responsible for the safe and competent use of all treatment equipment, patient appliances and aids.
