      Job summary

      The Rochdale Care Organisation of the Northern Care Alliance is looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking, motivated Physiotherapist with excellent clinical, communication, organisational and time management skills to join our community rotational Band 5 workforce.

      Rotations include -

      • MSK-acute service
      • MSK-Community service
      • Community Stroke service
      • Intermediate Care
      • Falls Service
      • Enhanced Respiratory service
      • Rapid Response
      • Care of the Elderly

      Main duties of the job

      You will:o Deliver high standard evidence based care o Perform therapy assessments of patients, providing a diagnosis to develop and deliver an individualised treatment programmeo Hold responsibility for their own caseload, working under supervision

      A flexible approach to day to day tasks is essential, in order to meet the demands of the service.Applicants will be expected to travel when necessary to participate in providing community services, so access to transport is essential.

      Qualifications & Registration

      Essential

      • Member of HCPC
      • Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy

      Desirable

      • A member of the CSP
      • Evidence of relevant post graduate training.

      Experience, Knowledge & Skills

      Essential

      • Completion of broad range of undergraduate placements, including stroke/neuro-rehabilitation, MSK.
      • Understanding of evidence-based practice.
      • Experience of working within a team and independently with support. Experience of liaison with other professionals and partnership working.
      • Knowledge of areas of clinical governance including quality, audit and risk management.
      • To comprehend and work within the Trusts policies of data protection, confidentiality, equal opportunities and Health and Safety to meet the differing needs of patients. Research and Development awareness.
      • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to support relevant clinical skills and effective clinical reasoning.
