      Position Overview

      We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced ROTO Project Manager to join our team based at PT Freeport Indonesia - located in the Papua Province, Indonesia.

      You will lead strategic project execution and work closely with diverse internal and external stakeholders to support operational success at one of our key customer sites.

      Job Summary

      The Project Manager will play a vital role in driving project delivery, stakeholder coordination, and process improvements across Sandvik Mining & Rock Solutions' offerings. The role includes structured exposure to strategic business functions and provides an excellent platform for long-term professional growth.

      Summary of Key Responsibilities

      • Manage projects through initiation, execution, and closure phases, ensuring alignment with operational and organizational priorities

      • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to support operational readiness and equipment implementation

      • Facilitate technology and equipment trials, including performance monitoring, KPI tracking, and reporting

      • Act as a key point of contact between the local territory and global SMR divisions when needed

      • Support the improvement of internal systems and processes to scale equipment and technology deployments

      • Take initiative in understanding customer operations and supporting business priorities

      • Provide cross-functional leadership and escalate issues appropriately

      • Contribute to a culture of high performance, safety, and continuous improvement

      Education, Experience & Certifications

      Experience

      • Minimum 10 years in mining, heavy equipment, or industrial sectors

      • Project or operations management in underground mining is highly valued

      • Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects

      • Experience supporting commercial or customer-facing functions is a plus

      • Familiarity with supply chain and service operations preferred

      Education & Certifications

      • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Commerce, International Business, Operations Management, Engineering Management, or a related field

      • Postgraduate qualifications or project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus

      • Must possess a valid Class B driver’s license

      • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
