We have the exciting opportunity for a hard-working and passionate music lover to come and join us in the capacity of Bar and Events Key-holder in our Rough Trade Bristol store. This role is part -time and is for 15 hours per week.

We have had some incredible musicians grace our doors over the years, and that will always be the case. The best new music sits at the heart of everything that we do.

You will be responsible for helping to run the Bar and Events space at Rough Trade Bristol and will report to the UK Bar Manager. You duties will include:

• Managing and working on the Bar including running of all day-to-day operations when manager on duty
• Support with bar stock ordering
• Helping with the set up and running of some in-store events
• Helping with the set up and running of some out-store events
• Some events promotion on running store events social channels

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

• Bar and events experience essential. Previous key-holder experience preferred
• Passionate about new music and grassroots music venues
• Basic barista training required
• Passionate about supporting and growing Bristol's grassroots music scene
• Hard working
• Great customer service skills
• Strong team player and a fast learner

  
  

Candidates must be available to work a varied shift pattern including evenings, late nights, weekends and public holidays.

Due to the nature of the role, candidates must be over 18 years of age.

Additional availability across busy periods would be preferable.
