Position Summary
We are looking for a Route Order Management Specialist to be based at our Brampton facility to report into the Manager, Starbucks Assets Solutions. This role is responsible for processing brewing equipment, parts, and espresso buy/sell orders as well as managing field inventory, 3rd party warehouse inventory control, related 3rd Party services, and asset manufacturer relationships. Position holder will be also responsible for enhancing the day-to-day operational effectiveness of the Trade Asset Solutions team by supporting and leading initiatives that focus on building analytical capabilities to drive operational improvements and maximize business results.
A day in the life of Route Order Management Specialist:Accurate Brewing and Espresso Equipment Order Processing
- Timely and accurate daily update to the 3PL/Nestle online order template
- Timely completed day to day SAP asset sales order creation and settlement
- Management and issuance of Purchase Orders
- Compliant asset Proforma invoice creation and issuance
- Timely communication of unsuccessful asset deliveries/pickups to internal and external partnersMaintain Inventory Control - 3PL Warehouse
- Fully compliant to all applicable inventory control processes and guidelines
- Monthly inventory reconciliation with 3PL
- Timely completed day to day stock transactions for 3PL warehouseBuild Capabilities and Talent
- Provide guidance and training to functional groups related to report development, execution and analytical approach to problem solving. drive team to deliver insights and recommendations from problem solving and analysis.
- Provide guidance and training to functional groups on various systems / utilities (MS Excel; SharePoint; SAP, etc.).
- Drive continuous improvement by leading, coaching and participating in cross functional NCE projectsDrive A Consumer Focused Value Chain to deliver Growth
- Drive improvements and innovations to the Trade Asset Solutions Dashboard.
- Continuously review / analyze data, and identify trends driving corrective action and modifying procedures as required to meet Trade Asset Solutions objectives.
- Work with Trade Asset Solutions team to deliver value added propositions to our customers
- Active participation in Trade Asset Solutions continual improvement projectsOn Time Reporting
- Accurate and timely updating of KPI's and operational reviews
- Lead 3PL Warehouse bi-weekly operational review
- Lead weekly 3PL Service Provider operational reviewOptimize and Innovate processes and tools to reduce complexity
- Initiate and/or support workgroup initiatives designed to identify and deliver more efficient Ways or Working
- Enhanced use of Globe Solutions and technology to drive Best Practices; Support development and validation of new Trade Asset Solutions reporting solutions
- Support development and execution of standard process and performance indicators that will allow for targeted opportunities to enhance results.What will make you successful?
• University Degree in Supply Chain or Business, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 5+ years of experience with proven track record of delivering results
• Relevant experience in the following areas is key:
- Route Planning
- Customer Service
- Inventory Management
• Working knowledge of general supply chain concepts / principles required
- Must have strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Inquisitive, investigative nature, with demonstrated ability to analyze and translate data into insight and recommendations.
- Must be a team player with strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
• Passionate about customer service
