  Krispy Kreme is looking for a Route Service Driver to support our DFD (Delivered Fresh Daily) Operations’ continued growth and exciting transformation! We’re always focused on creating the most awesome doughnut experience imaginable. As a Route Service Driver, you’ll be delivering customers the joy that is Krispy Kreme, our fresh and delicious doughnuts.

  
  

  HOW YOU WILL MASTER YOUR CRAFT!

  • Safely operate a box truck within designated local area to provide products and service to our customers and fresh shop locations.
  • Verify daily preventative maintenance of vehicle and maintain proper operator documentation; maintain cleanliness of truck.
  • Follow establish route map to ensure timely delivery of product
  • Load and unload product; merchandise product correctly and maintain a neat display
  • Collect empty boxes/racks, and unsold or damaged product, and enter relevant information into handheld device.
  • Support customer retention by addressing/escalating inquiries or issues timely
  • Adhere to safety, food safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices regulations.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the activities enumerated above.

  WHAT MAKES YOU IDEAL FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY?

  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to changes in the workplace, work schedules and priorities
  • Customer service oriented and able to address customer needs or issues.
  • Box truck or light freight driving experience is a strong plus.
  • Prior route sales experience, highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully read, write and speak effectively
  • Must be able to work all necessary work schedules, including holidays/weekends.
  • Availability to work night shifts that start anywhere from 8pm through 3am (7-9 hours routes)

  
  

  KRISPY KREME IS A DOT REGISTERED COMPANY, SO CERTAIN REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET TO BE A DRIVER WITH US.

  • Pass a criminal background check and drug screen
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license in the state you reside
  • Have a clean driving record (3 years)
  • Able to meet DOT Medical Examiner Card eligibility requirements. (We pay for this)!
  • Authorize release of Safety Performance History from Prior Employers
  • Consent to annual review of MVR and Safety Driving History

  • Physical activity includes, but is not limited to carrying, bending, stooping, grasping, standing, twisting, lifting, walking, sweeping, writing, mopping, and driving/
  • Physical requirements include lifting 75 pounds occasionally; and /or up to 25 pounds frequently, physically active, using hand-trucks to push/pull products, often on ramps, and considerable amounts of driving
  • Working Conditions: Required to safely operate equipment and perform job in varying weather and climatic conditions. This can mean extreme cold and hot temperatures.
