  Position Description

  You would be working closely with the India Service Provider account and consulting teams to deliver product and/or solution validation engagements that will aid in closing out sales opportunities. It is a challenging but very interesting and rewarding role that requires both technical breadth and depth in order to be effective. The engagement involves understanding the solution proposal, key points that needs to be demonstrated, and competitive pressure on the account. You would then help to develop and deliver an appropriate demo plan that would cover the main objectives and highlight client’s key differentiator. The responsibilities would also include working with the customer to define any challenges they are facing in regard to a client's product or solution and working internally within to help the customer to overcome the situation.

  Responsibilities

  · Plan, design, build and conduct solution or product demonstration on customer premises, within client's offices, or virtually.

  · Support customers evaluating client’s solutions from installation to customization

  · Translate, transfer, and disseminate acquired knowledge through presentations, or web postings.

  · Assist account teams in articulating the unique benefits and value of client’s products and solutions on their proposals.

  · Actively involve all parts of the client's organization as needed (product managers, specialists, customer experience, marketing, management etc.) to deliver a successful customer engagement.

  · Communicate feed-back from customers and the marketplace to stakeholders within the company

  · Act as a subject matter expert on a particular client's solution offerings, articulate client’s differentiation and value proposition

  Position Requirements

  · Strong networking technology fundamentals (TCP/IP, good understanding of routing and switching protocols) – be able to demonstrate and articulate understanding a must

  · Working knowledge of different Operating Systems (Windows/Linux), and Virtualization technologies (VMWare/Openstack) an advantage

  · Demonstrable knowledge of relevant programming and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, etc.) desirable

  · Practical configuration experience of client's products in either a Data Center or Enterprise environment. Knowledge of client’s ACI solution or SDA highly desirable.

  · 1+ year’s relevant experience on a technical role (Systems Engineer, Network Engineer, etc.) in a Software vendor, large Enterprise or Service Provider environment desirable

  · Experience with compute and related storage platforms desirable

  · Excellent English written and communication skills a must

  · Good interpersonal and project management skills

  · Ability to multitask, and work independently.
