      Job Summary:

      The RSS Program Operations is responsible for all program focus operational and manufacturing related activities within a production environment. The Program Operations personnel will be tasked to define clear operational schedules, priorities, goals, reporting, and collaborate with functional support employees to allow for continuous manufacturing of line-flow or end-item products. Additionally, the Program Operations personnel will be accountable for Manufacturing build status, reporting to management and Program management leadership.

      This position involves liaison activities between multiple sites and driving program focus manufacturing activities in Forest, MS. This will require spending significant amounts of time in and around factory areas and work with factory personnel. The ideal candidate will possess the demonstrated skills and experience necessary to perform in manufacturing guidance role.

      This position is an onsite role.

      Responsibilities to Anticipate:

      • Multiple Site Leadership interface and interactions

      • Schedule, Quality and Cost performance management of responsible work areas

      • Interface with support employees including planning, engineering, quality, material management and Value Stream Leaders across other plants

      • Perform a wide variety of sequencing, planning, scheduling, coordinating and reporting tasks in support of the manufacturing workflow

      • Prioritizes project issues and assists in the resolutions process to meet productivity, quality, and organizational goals and contractual delivery requirements

      • Ensure compliance to all pertinent operating procedures, organizational directives and work instructions

      Basic Qualifications:

      • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience

      • Experience with Microsoft applications to include Excel and analytical tools such as SAP or like systems

      • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

      • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Material Resource Planning experience within an Enterprise Resource Planning system or like system (SAP, CMES, IMDS - Integrated Maintenance Data System)

      • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Manufacturing, Operations, Production Control, Military

      • Demonstrated problem solving, and organizational, planning, multitasking and interpersonal skills

      • High computer literacy with confidence and skills working with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and familiarity with Raytheon systems (PRISM, PDM, CMES)

      • Experience with Lean Manufacturing concepts and/or implementation

      • Knowledge of configuration management and control tools

      • Onsite : Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

      • Hybrid : Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

      • Remote : Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
