      About the role- 12 months fixed term


      Are you passionate about helping employees’ transition smoothly back to work after injury? Do you have a knack for coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure a safe and effective return-to-work process? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you as our Return-to-Work Coordinator for our Laverton Distribution Centre!

      In this position you will play a crucial role in facilitating the return-to-work process for employees and implementing injury management programs to promote employee well-being and prevent workplace injuries.

      You’ll also-

      - Coordinate the return-to-work process for employees, including communicating with.
      - Manage the injury reporting and investigation process, including documenting incidents and implementing healthcare providers and developing return-to-work plans.
      - Collaborate with managers, and employees to identify workplace accommodations and modifications to support returning employees.
      - Ensure compliance in reporting and actions for workplace injuries according to governing bodies and insurers corrective actions.
      - Develop and implement injury management programs to prevent workplace injuries and promote a safe working environment.
      - Assist with training on injury prevention, return-to-work procedures, and workplace safety best practices.
      - Maintain accurate records of injury reports and related documentation.
      - Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of injury management and return-to-work programs.
      - Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to injury management and workplace safety.
      - Coordinate with the Payroll department for reimbursements and accurate processing.
      - Assist with the Employee Assistance Program and ensure accessibility.
      - Utilising problem-solving skills, clinical experience, and knowledge of injury management to perform assessments and facilitate the return to work of claimants
      - Conducting worksite assessments and using lateral thinking and forward planning skills to identify potential return to work pathways in line with likely recovery milestones

      About you and your skills

      - Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Osteopathy or Social Workers
      - Strong clinical reasoning
      - Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal
      - Current driver's license and car
      - Passion to help people rehabilitate
