      DESCRIPTION

      Price Industries Inc. is seeking a Safety Coordinator located in Casa Grande, AZ. Y ou will be responsible for developing and implementing safety programs that ensure compliance with regulations and promote a safe working environment. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining our commitment to safety excellence.

      Responsibilities

      • Maintain the safety and health vision of Price Industries, Inc.

      • Maintain safety checks and authorize the use of equipment being installed for electrical safety, proper function of the equipment, while maintaining ergonomic standards and guidelines that promote worker productivity, safety and health, including accessibility and visibility

      • Manage Worker’s Compensation claims by investigating the circumstances that led to the accident

      • Responsible for reporting claims to the Carrier while minimizing cost and eliminating fraudulent claims

      • Lead the plant’s Safety Committee with focus on raising safety awareness and creating a safe work environment free from incidents

      Qualifications

      • Ability to work effectively in a multitasking environment and work constructively under pressure

      • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions

      • Exceptional leadership skills with a sense of urgency and strong aptitude

      • Ability to make sound and timely decisions

      • Ability to work with minimum supervision

      • Excellent written, communication and presentation skills

      • Must be organized and detail oriented

      • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of organization

      • Comfortable in a team-oriented environment

      • Working knowledge of Federal and State OSHA safety and health regulations

      • Experience with implementation and administration of Behavioral Bases Safety programs

      • First Aid and CPR Certification
