Job summary
We have an exciting oppotunity for a 5 session salaried GP which due to a change in Enhanced Access provision in house, would include some later start and finish times. Days and hours can be discussed at interview.

22,000 patients, mixed semi rural practice
High standards and QOF achievement, extensive enhanced Services including IUC, implants, minor surgery.
Daily clinical huddle with supportive colleagues
In house mentoring with access to NHS fellowship
EMIS Web, Docman,
Workflow processing by trained administrators reduces docman
Part of an innovative PCN, Care Collaborative with a multi-professional anticipatory care hub and soon to have a mental health hub!

Main duties of the job
To deliver a highly effective medical care to the entitled population. To ensure that the provision of services commensurate with the GMS/PMS contract.Generic prescribing adhering to local and national guidance.Effective management of long-term conditions.Processing of administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescription requests and other associated administrative tasks.On a rotational basis, undertake telephone triage and duty doctor rolesContribute to the successful implementation of continuous improvement and quality initiatives within the practice.Accept delegated responsibility for a specific area (or areas) or the QOF

Job responsibilities
a. The delivery of highly effective medical care to the entitled population
b. The provision of services commensurate with the GMS contract
c. Generic prescribing adhering to local and national guidance

l. Attend and contribute effectively to practice meetings as required
m. Contribute effective to the development and maintenance of the practice including; clinical governance, training, financial management and HR

o. Prepare and complete the revalidation process
p. Commit to self-learning and instil an ethos of continuing professional development across the practice team
q. Support the training of medical students from all clinical disciplines
r. Support the partners in achieving the strategic aims of the practice, making recommendations to enhance income and reduce expenditure
s. Review and adhere to practice protocols and policies at all times
t. Encourage collaborative working, liaising with all staff regularly, promoting a culture of continuous improvement at all times
